How does GPS clock-in work?

PulseIQ captures your GPS location only at the moment you clock in and the moment you clock out — never in between, and never in the background. The app only ever requests foreground ("when in use") location access, so it's not capable of tracking you between shifts, during breaks, or after you close the app.
