Introduction
Nebulous Dynamics LLC ("Nebulous Dynamics," "we," "us," or "our") operates PulseIQ, a field operations and time-tracking platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the PulseIQ mobile application, web dashboard, and related services (together, the "Services").
By using PulseIQ, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Services.
Who We Are
The data controller responsible for your information is:
Nebulous Dynamics LLC

United States
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:
- Create an Account: Name, email address, password, phone number, and profile information.
- Use the App: Project names, task descriptions, notes, time logs, and other content you create or upload.
- Contact Support: Communications with our support team, feedback, and bug reports.
- Make Payments: Billing information processed through secure third-party payment processors.
1.2 Location Information
Our Privacy-First Approach
PulseIQ collects your GPS location ONLY when you clock in or clock out. We do NOT track your location continuously or in the background.
We collect location data specifically:
- At the moment you clock in to start a work session.
- At the moment you clock out to end a work session.
- Location data is used solely for work site verification and session logging.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
We use the following tools to automatically collect certain information as you use the Services:
- App Data & Sync: Device type, operating system, and app usage data needed to sync your projects, tasks, and time logs in real time.
- Crash & Error Reporting: On our web dashboard, we use an error-monitoring vendor to capture crash reports and error logs so we can diagnose and fix bugs. This tool does not run inside the mobile app.
- Sign-In Providers: If you choose to sign in using a third-party identity provider, that provider shares your name, email address, and a unique identifier with us to create and authenticate your account.
- IP Address: Collected for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
1.4 Device Permissions
The PulseIQ mobile app requests the following device permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:
- Camera & Photo Library: To let you attach photos to tasks or site reports when creating or updating them.
- Calendar & Reminders: To schedule tasks and remind you of upcoming work.
- Notifications: To alert you about clock-in/clock-out events, task updates, and messages.
You can deny or revoke any of these permissions in your device settings at any time; doing so may limit the related feature but will not disable the rest of the app.
2. How We Use It
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Provide Services: Enable time tracking, verify locations, and sync data.
- Improve & Optimize: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop features.
- Communicate: Send service updates, security alerts, and support responses.
- Security: Protect against fraud and unauthorized access.
- Billing: Process organization-level subscription payments through a secure third-party payment processor. We do not use your data for ad targeting, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share It
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Within Your Organisation
Your time logs, location data, and activity may be visible to administrators or team members within your organisation according to their access permissions.
Service Providers
We share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and app, conducting our business, or servicing you. These include cloud infrastructure and database hosting providers, payment processors, transactional email providers, and security and error-monitoring vendors. All such third parties are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure.
Legal Requirements
If required by law, regulation, or legal process to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account or organization remains active, and as needed to provide the Services.
- Time logs, location pings, and task/project data are retained for the lifetime of your organization's account, unless deleted sooner by an organization admin.
- How your account deletion is processed depends on how you request it (see "Account & Data Deletion" below): deleting from the web dashboard starts a 30-day recovery period, during which you can restore your account before it's permanently erased. Deleting from the mobile app — available once you've left every organization you belong to — is immediate and permanent, with no recovery period. Either way, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, we do not keep your personal information beyond that point.
5. International Data Transfers
Nebulous Dynamics LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process and store data in the United States or other countries. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
6. Children's Privacy
PulseIQ is a workforce management tool intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@projectpulseiq.com and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have rights over your personal information.
California Residents (CCPA)
You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect (identifiers, account information, location data, usage data), to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information.
EU / UK Residents (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Our legal basis for processing is primarily performance of a contract (providing the Services) and legitimate interest (security, product improvement).
- Access and receive a copy of your personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
Ready to delete your account or data?
Step-by-step instructions for organization owners, admins, and members — no login required.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@projectpulseiq.com or use the account settings in the App.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including AES-256 encryption of data at rest, TLS encryption of data in transit, and access controls that limit who within our organization and yours can view your data. Our infrastructure providers are audited annually for SOC 2 Type II compliance and undergo regular independent penetration testing.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where required, notify you through the App or by email.
